in the end, i will not even have met myself (2013)

in the end, i will not even have met myself explores the interaction of the body with space over time. My hair is changed over time by the surrounding air, its temperature and humidity, whilst the air itself is changed by the humidity and motion of my hair. Inspired by a philosophical theory that we are a sequence of instantaneous people that never meet each other, I put three different versions of my Self next to each other, performing the same movement, without any device to monitor its pace. Starting at different rhythms, the three Selves become synchronized from time to time, suggesting a connection between the different people I have been.
